Walking into the shop is like walking into a fairytale. Every detail of the restaurant plays a part in the light and airy atmosphere. From the breathtaking marble flooring inlay to the white furniture, the entire restaurant is dazzling. Not to mention the most beautiful detail: the decorated cakes on display in the bakery area.

Sitting down at our beautiful table, perfectly decorated for Halloween, we are faced with a tough decision: what to order.
I had the chicken salad sandwich, which comes on a deliciously butter croissant – my mouth is watering just thinking of it. My mother-in-law had the chicken velvet soup, reminding us of the good ol’ days at L.S. Ayres.

We split a few desserts: one slice of the blueberry pie (YUM!) and one slice of Gwendolyn’s Famous Earl’s Court Chocolate Cake, because how could we resist?!
