Lucas Oil Swim Trials

What’s red, white, and a million gallons of blue all over?

Lucas Oil Stadium, the site of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swim Trials.

The US Olympic Swimming Trials, sponsored by USA Swimming, arrives in Indianapolis soon.  This event represents a pinnacle moment in American aquatic sports, where aspiring athletes converge to compete for a coveted spot on the national team bound for the Olympic Games. Held in Lucas Oil Stadium, these trials serve as a showcase of talent, determination, and unparalleled athleticism.

Indianapolis, known for its rich sports culture and world-class facilities, serves as an ideal host city for this prestigious event, welcoming competitors, coaches, and spectators from across the nation.

The trials feature a grueling series of heats, semifinals, and finals, where athletes push themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. Swimmers navigate the waters with precision and grace. Each race and dive is a testament to years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering determination.  You’ll even get to watch a number of Hoosier swimmers try to qualify for the Olympics.

Beyond the thrill of competition, the trials offer a unique opportunity for fans to witness history in the making, as new stars emerge and veterans cement their legacies. From breakout performances to nail-biting finishes, every moment is infused with drama and excitement, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. It’s also history in the making as two full-sized Olympic pools have been built 8’ above the Colts turf in Lucas Oil.  One pool is for competition, and the other is for practice/warm-up.
